A new season for Little People, Big World is here and people are heartbroken for the Roloff family.
In a new trailer shared by Amy Roloff, fans will get a closer look at the dynamic between exes Amy and Matt and their respective new partners, as well as how Zach and Tori Roloff are doing now as parents of three. Sadly, as the trailer revealed, it doesn’t looking like the Roloff family is one cohesive unit anymore like they used to be.
When Zach was asked about his father’s engagement to Caryn, Zach asked to not be included in the conversation. In fact, Matt went as far as to say Zach, Tori, and the kids rarely visit the farm any more.
“I didn’t reply. I don’t want to talk about it,” Zach said when asked about the engagement. “We don’t see Zach and Tori that often. I think they must have made some kind of pact not to come to the farm,” Matt said, while Chris, Amy’s husband said, “They don’t come over any more.”
Caryn is then heard saying, “I’m not used to being cut off,” before Amy says, “You have a choice, how long do you leave it broken? Is there a way to help heal it?”
That’s when Zach adds that, “The family wasn’t put first on multiple occasions. That ship has sailed.”
Nearly one year ago, Matt Roloff had some amazing news for his fans!
In an exclusive statement shared with People, Matt revealed that he and his longtime partner Caryn Chandler are engaged to be married! Matt and Caryn first started dating in 2017.

“After six wonderful years together, I asked Caryn to marry me and she said yes!” Roloff revealed to People. “Our plan is to enjoy our engagement and we are looking forward to a simple but elegant wedding in 2024.”
Matt and Caryn started dating after he and his ex-wife Amy Roloff divorced. Caryn was a former employee of the Roloff family farm.
Amy has also remarried in 2021 to her now husband Chris. TLC reports that despite a rocky beginning to their divorce, Amy, Matt, and their respective partners have managed to “maintain a friendly relationship, even enjoying a double date together at the farm to kick off pumpkin season last fall.”
Caryn and Matt have since moved off the farm part-time and live in Arizona. Now the couple is currently building a second home as well. Matt has been detailing the process of the build on Instagram.
“Craziest, most fun, and exciting time in my life …Yes .. its exhausting but life at the ripe old age of 61 is still exhilarating. building things has always been a passion of mine.. Now I’m having fun. Oh… and the negative Nelly’s out there … sorry you’re not having fun in life,” Matt wrote in his latest house post.
Matt’s four children have yet to offer their congratulations publicly. Nonetheless, here’s to the happy soon-to-be betrothed couple.
