Neil Patrick Harris and his partner David Burtka welcomed their twin children in October 2010. People are now speculating which child is his, and he his reasons on why he doesn’t want to disclose it…
But Harris has now opened up about why it is important to him that he does not know which child is biologically his.
Harris is known for his various roles in Hollywood which include parts in television series and movies. His infamous role as Barney Stinson in How I Met Your Mother and his terrifying role in the mystery-thriller Gone Girl as the ex-boyfriend.
He made a comment about not wanting to know which twin was biologically his back in 2014 when the children were just 4 years old. And it is a comment he still wholly believes in today.
“I have no interest in [finding out]. We are their parents and I love them implicitly,” he shared.
“Both [of the eggs] took, miraculously,” Neil Patrick Harris said.
Recently, he has opened up about what it is like parenting teens.
“We keep being told that at a certain point, they’re going to hate us,” he said as a joke in a recent interview.
“That hasn’t happened yet. So you know, so far, so good!”
“They’re good kids. We’ve done a good job. You know, you put the work in and you get it back, you know?” Burtka supplied.
“Happy birthday, Harper and Gideon. You are the lights of my life. I can’t wait to watch you want nothing to do with me, and I promise I’ll be with you through all of it. Just, wow.”
While Harris maintains that he has no interest in finding out which twin is biologically his, there are some detectives online who are trying to figure out which twin belongs to whom.
Another agreed with the comment saying, “he doesn’t need to know, we all know Harper has David’s face lol. excited that at least I get to know haha!”
A third one, however, shared, “The boy is his absolute double. And the girl looks like his husband, especially around her nose and mouth.”
