This amazing Princess rose to notoriety following her engagement to Prince Charles, Queen Elizabeth II’s eldest son and heir to the British throne. She has been in the spotlight since the rest of the world became aware of her. The paparazzi tracked her every step and, according to others, pushed her to her death.

Unlike the rest of the British royals’ engagement rings, which are custom-made, Diana’s 12-carat sapphire ring surrounded by 14 solitaire diamonds set in white gold was bought from a Garrard jewelry collection catalog.
