Rumors have been swirling around the first couple. A trustworthy source revealed that Melania leveraged moving into the White House to renegotiate her prenuptial agreement with Trump. Around the same time, the press broke stories about how Melania is ready to divorce him once his term in office comes to an end – and now the truth around Trump’s bedroom behavior, or lack thereof, has been confirmed.
Donald Trump and his forty-six-year-old wife do not sleep in the same bed. Even when they are in the same house together, they use different beds. This fact has caused many insiders to question whether the president and his wife’s relationship is in turmoil. With his “Grab ’em by the p****” footage and his campaign paying off an adult film star to not speak about their affair, Trump has to fight if he wants to keep Melania in the marriage. All signs point to her gaining ground and leverage on him when it comes to their relationship.
“They have separate bedrooms,” one anonymous White House insider said, reports Us Weekly. “They never spend the night together — ever.”
The source directly confirmed that the separate sleeping arrangements reflect Melania’s deep unhappiness about her marriage to Trump. The source has the ear of the first family.
“Melania wants as little to do with Donald as possible,” the source said. “She is not interested in Donald, the presidency, or anything involving him.”
Not only does the first lady want out, but she has also already moved into another bedroom.
“Melania,” the source added, “does not keep hidden from everyone around her how miserable she is.”
Another source confirmed the fact that the president does not sleep with his wife anymore. However, this source said that the president and the first lady do have separate beds in the same room.
“It’s very ‘royal’ of them!” the source said, trying to put a positive spin on the worrying detail.
After the source came out with the truth behind the Trump’s bedroom behavior, Melania’s official representatives deny it.
“It’s unfortunate that you are going to feature unnamed ‘sources’ that have provided fictional accounts,” a representative said in response.
People on social media shared their shock upon learning that Melania won’t share a bed with the president.
“If that’s true, that’s sad,” wrote one person on Cosmopolitan’s Facebook post. “I don’t think you should be posting about people’s private matters like this. You make me sad too, Cosmo.”
“Don’t feel sorry for Melania,” added another. “She married for money, and that doesn’t usually end well. In her case, especially so.”
“I feel tempted to say ‘of course she’s unhappy with him.’ But it’s still sad, also for their child,” wrote a conservative reader.
Some people were not surprised that Melania wants some time apart from Trump.
“I refuse to share my country with such a jerk of human being, can’t blame her,” wrote one person on Cosmopolitan’s Facebook post about the claim. “I keep thinking, he had paid for her ‘freedom’ so, she’s his slave.”
