I hear congratulations are in order for Louis Tomlinson – the former One Direction star has apparently just got married!
Whether he really knows this news is being celebrated remains a bit of a mystery, but hey, his new ‘wife’ – and big Tomlinson fan – is very pleased with the development.
I’m sure you have a few questions, so let’s go back to the beginning
Tomlinson is currently on tour with his ‘Faith In The Future’ album, which he’s performing in venues across the globe.
Recently, the singer stopped in Indonesia to perform and even spent time meeting and signing autographs for excited fans.
One of the fans in attendance at the gig in Jakarta was a TikToker who goes by the handle ‘@ladycryalot’. She had the opportunity to meet Tomlinson, and decided to shoot her shot by asking for an autograph that was a little different from the rest.
In a post on TikTok, the fan explained: “So I just got back from ‘Faith in the Future’ in Jakarta, and I lost my voice because I was having fun, I was having so much fun.
“And I went there as a single woman, right? I don’t have any boyfriend, I don’t have any fiancée or something like that, but I got back from there as a married woman.”
The TikToker held up a document to back up her point, and went on to explain that Tomlinson had signed a marriage certificate which featured an image of himself and the fan.
“I’m a married woman. I’m married to Louis Tomlinson. I’m his lawfully wedded wife,” she said.
Another video shared by the fan caught the moment Tomlinson saw the document, asking: “What’s this, some kind of declaration of marriage is it?”
The singer agreed to sign the document, before joking that he would have to come back to Jakarta more often if his ‘wife’ wanted him to.
The fan explained: “I did not go to the meet and greet but my friend did, and my friend asked him ‘are you going to go back to Jakarta’, and he answered ‘if my wife wants to’, after he signed this.”
“I’m his wife, are you kidding me?,” she added.
Though the fan is clearly committed to the notion that she’s married to Tomlinson, it’s worth noting that marriages in Indonesia are not officially recognized unless there’s been a ceremony – so while the certificate is a good souvenir, it doesn’t actually mean Tomlinson has a new wife.
Slipknot’s Corey Taylor cancels tour after admitting he ‘very nearly relapsed’

Corey Taylor has clarified why he was forced to pull his upcoming North American tour dates.
Earlier this month, the Slipknot frontman revealed that he had suffered a breakdown in both his mental and physical health.
As a result, he claimed he needed time to pull himself ‘back together’ and that wouldn’t be heading out on the road in the US.
However, many fans criticised the 50-year-old after four upcoming tour dates in South Asia were recently detailed.
Addressing criticism and concerns on Wednesday (January 24), Taylor took to social media and posted a candid video explaining this decision.
In the clip, he revealed why the Tokyo, Osaka and Manila shows would be going ahead.
“Originally, that [the new tour dates] was supposed to be mentioned in the statement I released related to my mental health relapse,” he said.
“The truth of the matter is I understand why so many of you are upset – I’m just going to break it down for you.
“Over the last year, I have had a complete and utter breakdown of boundaries, mental health, ego, entitlement, the whole nine yards.”
Taylor continued to say that the pressure nearly accumulated in a ‘near relapse’ and that he didn’t ‘recognize’ himself during that time.
He added: “So, again I just wanted to address this and just tell people I needed time to be reset, I needed time to start working on my heart and my mind and get straight.”
Taylor then revealed that he would be keeping firm his touring commitment in Asia because he would only be performing four shows.
“It’s literally a week,” he reasoned. “I’m going to see how I do with that and just take it day-by-day, basically.”
The musician added that he will continue to exercise self-care and is currently working on getting help to improve his mental health.
“I’m just doing the best for me right now,” he concluded. “It’s a long road and I don’t know what’s at the end of it.”
Fans have since pledged their support to the ‘Duality’ hitmaker, with one Instagram user writing: “We’d rather have cancelled shows and an alive Corey trying to take care of himself than to have your tour cancelled because you left us on tour. Take care of yourself man, we’ll be ready when you are.”
A second said: “Sucks that he got hate for worrying about his own mental health… do better everybody smh.”
“Before I forget to say, you are a legend. We are with you,” replied another.
Taylor has previously discussed his battle with PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) while speaking about his track ‘Post Traumatic Blues’.
“It was one of those songs that I didn’t want to just be about me and my experiences – I wanted it to be a bridge between people who are dealing with PTSD and the people who are desperately trying to understand the nuances of what people have to go through,” he told NME.
“It’s one of the reasons why it tears families apart and went so undiagnosed for so many years – we never recognized the rainbow of symptoms and issues that come with it.”

Flight attendant reveals who was the most ‘humble’ celebrity she’s encountered while flying

A flight attendant has revealed the ‘most humble’ celebrity she’s met while travelling.
No matter how famous or rich someone gets, you’d hope they could hang onto the person they were before and still stay grounded. Alas, that’s not always the case with some high-flying celebrities.
Thankfully, a flight attendant had an extremely positive experience with one celebrity she met onboard a plane, and she’s since explained what exactly went down.
Taking to her YouTube channel, Emily Kelly – who goes by The Hungry Flight Attendant – said she thought it would be ‘really fun to share some celebrity stories’ about some people she’s meet either while at work, or at the airport on or a flight when flying ‘for fun’.
However, in the video, she notes: “I’m only going to share the positive experiences for obvious reasons. I’m still a flight attendant and I don’t want to be speaking poorly of anyone on here like no matter if I’m a flight attendant or not. So if I don’t talk about this experience is because it was a negative, so there’s a couple that I’m not going to name but the rest were really positive.”
And one of her favorite celeb experiences?
Well, Kelly explains she was in Atlanta and was flying back to Dallas on a non-work related trip when she bumped into an Australian actor.
“He was the most humble, kind, amazing person,” she says. “Like one of the most humble, kind people that I’ve ever met not just celebrity wise like anyone.”
But who was the mystery man?
Kelly bumped into Joel Edgerton – best known for his role as Tom Buchanan in The Great Gatsby and 2023 release The Boys in the Boat, directed by George Clooney.
She adds the actor made her ‘feel important’ as well as ‘heard,’ with Edgerton asking her what she does for work and commenting on being a flight attendant as ‘amazing’ and ‘so cool’.

Kelly continues: “He told me he was in Atlanta scouting places for a new movie that he was directing but he said it so casually like he did not say it in a pompous, arrogant way, he was being so cool.”
The pair also spoke about having family in Alabama and Kelly resolves Edgerton was just overall ‘a super sweet person’ and she had a ‘very, very great experience’ with him on the flight.

Calls for A$AP Rocky to apologize to fan after grabbing her face while jumping through crowd

A$AP Rocky is facing backlash after he used a woman’s actual face to help boost himself over a barrier to get out of a crowd gathered at his hotel.
New York was flooded with celebrities ahead of the Met Gala yesterday (1 May), and their presence was accompanied by a lot of fans who were hoping to get a glimpse of some of the A-listers in real life.
Madelyn Llanes, from Long Island, New York, was among an excited crowd gathered outside The Carlyle Hotel, where staff had put up barriers to help protect any stars trying to get in and out.
It’s a pretty easy system to use, and you’d expect most celebrities to take advantage of the fact that they wouldn’t have to push and shove their way through fans. Not A$AP Rocky, though.
Footage from outside the hotel shows that instead of walking through the nice, clear path in between the barriers, Rocky popped up in the middle of the packed group behind them.
He then proceeded to try and jump the barrier, and when he needed a little extra support he put his hand straight on to Madelyn’s face to push himself up, knocking off her glasses in the meantime.
The fan told The Independent Rocky had actually attempted to warn her that he’d be passing through, but she’d initially ignored him.
She explained: “I went to The Carlyle early in the day just so I’d be able to see everyone’s outfits up close as they’d head out.
“What happened with A$AP Rocky is that I had felt someone tapping my shoulder, so I turned around and saw that it was him but my brain didn’t fully comprehend that it was him.
“He said: ‘Sweetheart I need to get through’ and I just told him ‘no’ because the barricade was right in front of me, there wasn’t really anywhere to go.”
Rocky made it clear that a little metal fence wasn’t going to stand in his way, with Madelyn explaining that he grabbed both her and the guy next to her in the process.
“After he hopped over, he was like ‘thank you’ and then just laughed and flipped me off and then he went inside and that’s when I fully realised it was him,” Madelyn said.
Footage of Madelyn filmed after the bizarre encounter showed her laughing at the situation, though a lot of viewers were less than impressed with the way Rocky behaved.
“Did he apologize?” one person asked after watching the footage, while another questioned: “Why would you put your weight on a person like that? Are you a ram?”
“I feel so bad for this girl,” a third added, while someone else wrote: “Nah he did not have to do all that.”
After hopping the fence, Madelyn said everyone at the hotel ‘just freaked out’.

Couple mistakenly rip ‘screen’ off their new smart TV while filming unboxing

People are flooding to social media in horror after a TikToker revealed what happened when she and her partner unboxed a new TV.
There’s nothing quite like the feeling of getting a new phone and peeling back the protective film of plastic on the screen.
I’ve not yet started being an adult and saving up enough to buy myself a new TV, but one couple did make the leap and treated themselves. Alas, their unveiling of the device didn’t quite go to plan.
TikToker Kelsey – who goes by @kumalashstudio on social media – took to her page earlier this month to reveal she and her partner had decided to treat themselves to a ‘brand new Samsung TV’ after moving to Spain.
In the video, the lash technician explains she bought the TV and thought it would be like other screens with a ‘little protective plastic on it that you need to take off’.
“Well, we thought it was the protective plastic because it really looked like that,” she continues.
“So we started peeling it off and we did not realise that it was the actual screen we were peeling off.”
By this point, Kelsey realised her husband had pulled off the ‘whole rest of the screen,’ the TikToker noting by ‘that point’ they were ‘already half-way there’ and the TV was already ‘ruined’.
And apparently, Kelsey isn’t the only person to have done this either, with ‘whole threads of people’ also accidentally doing the same thing.
Without the darker top layer of film on, Kelsey notes the TV looks ‘super nice and clear and shiny,’ however, ultimately, it’s not really usable anymore.
Thankfully, the TikToker reveals she called up Samsung who were ‘cool’ and offered to replace the TV.
And people are flooding to the comments to weigh in on the incident.
One TikTok user wrote: “That’s not the entire screen. It’s just the polarizing film on top. Stick it on a pair of glasses and you have a private tv, noone else can see.”
“Ive had customers do this and it’s so painful to tell them they destroyed their tv what tv comes with a protevtive film?!? Answer is none,” another added.
A third commented: “Girl.. what how did you not realise?”
And a final resolved: “Samsung is so nice for replacing that though.”
